It is with great disappointment that we must confirm that the 25th edition of the Eselfontein Festival for 2026 has been cancelled due to the May 2026 heavy rain and flooding.
Large sections of the routes have been washed away, and parts of Eselfontein have sustained severe damage, making it unsafe to continue with the event. Our hearts are heavy after all the preparation and excitement leading up to our annual Festival, but safety must come first.
